Gaelscoil Riabhach in Galway succeeded in renewing their yellow flag this year. The school is a multi-denominational and the Yellow Flag is a symbol of the welcome that the school extends to all and the work that is done continuously. Congratulations to them!

The yellow flag is a a project on equality and diversity, directed at schools that promote and encourage a multicultural environment.

A group from Gaelscoil Riabhach travelled to Dublin for the presentation of the second Yellow Flag. Gaelscoil Riabhach is the second school in the country to received two yellow flags without a break and is leading the way for other Gaelscoileanna.

In the picture below, the group can be seen with the flag and with dancer Tura Arutura and Dil Wickremsinghe, the presenters on the day

D’éirigh le Gaelscoil Riabhach i nGaillimh athnuachan a dhéanamh ar an tionscnamh sa scoil i mbliana. Is scoil ilchreidmheach í Gaelscoil Riabhach agus is siombail í an Brat Buí den fháilte a chuireann siad roimh chách. Comhghairdeas leo!!

Tionscnamh comhionnanais agus ilíochta é An Brat Buí atá dírithe ar scoileanna a chuireann chun cinn agus a spreagann timpeallacht idirchultúrach.

Thaisteal daltaí ó Ghaelscoil Riabhach go Baile Átha Cliath, áit ar bronnadh an dara Bhrat Buí ar an scoil. Is í Gaelscoil Riabhach an dara scoil sa tír atá i ndiaidh dhá bhrat a fháil gan briseadh agus is ceannródaí í an scoil i measc Ghaelscoileanna na tíre.

Sa phictiúir thíos feictear an grúpa leis an mbrat, in éineacht leis an damhsóir, Tura Artura, agus le Dil Wickremasinghe, a bhí mar láithreoirí ar an lá.
