Schools Procurement Unit
The Schools Procurement Unit (SPU) acts as the central coordinating function for procurement for all primary and secondary schools.
It gives practical advice to schools on how they can improve their practices with regard to procurement.
They communicate clearly with school staff and help them to access contracts for goods and services with have been negotiated centrally on behalf of schools.
The unit gives practical advice to schools also on procurement best practices enabling schools to fulfil their legal obligations within a complicated environment which is constantly changing.
