Gaelscoileanna Teo. is providing grants to naíonraí and to Irish medium schools and Gaeltacht schools as part of the new scheme ‘Le Chéile Trí Ghaeilge’. The budget for the scheme for the September to Christmas 2014 has been approved and applications for grants will be accepted within this period.
There is always a great demand for the grants and it is recommended that naíonraí and schools take up this change and make an application soon. The grants are approved on a first come first served basis. The event details to not need to be confirmed when the application is made. A description of what is planned will suffice.
The payment are made by receipt after the event. Applications from naíonraí, primary schools and secondary schools are welcomed.
Under this scheme, naíonraí and schools have the change to hold their own event in partnership with schools and naíonraí. Gaelscoileanna Teo. will provide:
- – Up to €250 for an event in which 2 naíonraí/schools take part
- – Up to €500 for an event in which 3 naíonraí/schools take part
- – Up to €750 if 4 or more naíonraí/schools take part.
The application form can be downloaded from the following webpage: http://www.gaelscoileanna.ie/events/eolas/foirm-dimeachtai-idir-scoile/
These give naíonraí, Irish medium schools and Gaeltacht schools the opportunity to make links with each other. From table quizzes to football matches, the events promote communication and fun through the medium of Irish.
This grant scheme is funded by Foras na Gaeilge.
Tá Gaelscoileanna Teo. ag cur deontas ar fáil do naíonraí agus do scoileanna lán-Ghaeilge agus Gaeltachta tríd an scéim nua ‘Le Chéile Trí Ghaeilge’. Tá buiséad ceadaithe don scéim don tréimhse Meán Fómhair – Nollaig 2014 agus glacfar le hiarratais d’imeachtaí atá beartaithe laistigh don tréimhse seo.
Bíonn an-tóir ar na deontais, agus moltar do naíonraí agus do scoileanna an deis a sciobadh agus iarratas a dhéanamh go luath! Ceadaítear na deontais ar bhonn tús freastail. Ní gá go mbeidh sonraí an imeachta deimhnithe agat leis an iarratas a dhéanamh, is leor cur síos ar a bhfuil beartaithe.
Déantar na h-íocaíochtaí de réir admhála i ndiaidh an imeachta. Cuirtear fáilte roimh réimse leathan imeachtaí agus roimh iarratais ó naíonraí, naíscoileanna, bunscoileanna agus iarbhunscoileanna.
Tríd an scéim seo, bíonn deis ag naíonraí agus scoileanna imeacht dá rogha féin a reáchtáil le naíonraí agus scoileanna eile.
Is féidir an fhoirm iarratais a chomhlánú anseo: http://www.gaelscoileanna.ie/events/eolas/foirm-dimeachtai-idir-scoile/
Tugann na himeachtaí seo deis tábhachtach do naíonraí agus do scoileanna lán-Ghaeilge agus Gaeltachta nasc a chruthú le chéile. Ó thráth na gceist go cluichí peile, spreagann na himeachtaí ilghnéitheacha seo cumarsáid agus spraoi trí mheán na Gaeilge.
Tá an scéim deontais seo á maoiniú ag Foras na Gaeilge.
