Coláiste Ghlór na Mara had their first football match on the 12th September and they managed to gain the upper hand against Fingal Community College’s capable team. The end score was 4-17 to
Coláiste Ghlór na Mara, the new Gaelcoláiste in Balbriggan, only opened on the first day of September of this year with 26 students in first year. Since then things have only improved for the school.
The students use a ‘Microsoft Surface’ tablet for their school work and there is great learning going on with them!
It was teacher Carly Nic Curta who sent the team out onto the pitch after discussing tactics and between the girls and boys they made a massive effort to win. Huge congratulations to them!!
