An Foras Pátrúnachta and Gaelscoileanna Teo. are delighted to be hosting the annual CAER conference. The conference will be held on March 3rd & 4th in the Knightsbrook Hotel, Trim, Co. Meath in Ireland.
CAER is a minority language education conference. Attendees will have the opportunity of discussing questions with experts in the field of minority language education in addition to people from every background in Irish-medium education on the island. We have an excellent group of speakers lined up for the conference this year; Dr. Julia Barnes, Mondragon University, Basque Country, Dr. Hywel Lewis, University of Wales, Dr. T.J. Ó Ceallaigh, University of Limerick, Ireland and many others too. This is a unique opportunity to learn about how to deal with a challenge based upon a solution used in another minority language.

Is cúis áthais don Fhoras i gcomhpháirtíocht le Gaelscoileanna Teo. Comhdháil CAER a reachtáil in Éirinn ar an 3/4 Márta.
Is comhdháil oideachais do mhionteangacha é CAER. Gheobhaidh daoine i láthair an deis ceisteanna a phlé le saineolaithe ar oideachas trí mhionteangacha ó réigiúin éagsúla mar aon le daoine ó gach cúlra gaelscolaíochta ar an oileán. Tá scoth na gcainteoirí againn don chomhdháil; An Dr Julia Barnes ó Ollscoil Mondragon i dTír na mBascach, An Dr Hywel Lewis ó Ollscoil na Breataine Bige, An Dr T.J. Ó Ceallaigh ó Ollscoil Luimnigh i measc go leor eile. Is deis ar leith é seo foghlaim faoi conas dul i ngleic le dúshlán bunaithe ar réiteach a d’oibrigh le mionteanga eile.
