Redeployment Panels

An Foras Pátrúnachta has a Main Redeployment Panel and a Supplementary Redeployment Panel. Both are national panels.

Main Panel

• The Main Panel related to permanent teachers. Teachers on the An Foras Main Panel are entitled to be redeployed into permanent vacancies, specified-purpose vacancies and fixed-term vacancies.

Supplementary Panel

• The Supplementary panel relates to teachers who have a fixed term or part-time post. Teachers on the Supplementary Panel are entitled to be redeployed into permanent posts only.

Teachers have to apply to be put on the An Foras Pátrúnachta panels. The Department of Education awards panel rights to teachers.
